Fourth Presbyterian Church from Washington D.C. visited the ministry of Alan and Fabiola Gordon in Ecuador. The goal was to understand more of the indigenous culture and get a taste of ministry among the Quichua. The group of seven visited three different communities in the Andes mountains near Riobamba, shared their testimonies, and lent a hand in a VBS in a community called “Quislag.” As they shared at the end of the trip: “God loves them just as much as he loves us,” and “even though they have so little they are so happy.” A mission trip changes lives, both theirs and ours.
